DOMINIC RICHARDS
Co-Founder & Chair

Over the past 25 years, Dominic has gained a deep understanding of the impact of the built environment on the quality of life of those living and working within it. He founded Our Place to deliver on these learnings by developing sustainable communities and walkable neighbourhoods that are deeply rooted in their locality.

James Owen
CFO

James has responsibility for project finances and investment strategy having held similar roles at Taylor Wimpey, Lendlease, Majid Al Futtaim Group and Hammerson Plc. James is ACCA qualified.

Luke Bennett
Design director

Luke is a registered UK architect with experience in prominent design practices. He has worked on the design of large-scale town developments, urban regeneration projects, affordable housing and bespoke private residences, and is responsible for ensuring that each Our Place development is characterful and sympathetic to its surroundings.

Giff Mulley
Estates DIRECTOR

As Head of Estates and Asset Management, Giff is focused on ensuring our spaces, services and wider amenities meet customer needs and allow thriving communities to form. Giff leads a nimble team who make it their business to help your business. Giff is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and is qualified in Construction Management.

KATE BULTITUDE
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Kate is responsible for operational finance including preparation of management information, monitoring cashflow and business performance having previously held Head of Finance role at Purcell. Kate also assists in the running of our serviced office business in Norwich.

 
 

RAJ MS CHANA
Block & Facilities Manager

Raj is a dedicated and knowledgable senior Building Manager with over a decade of experience in Facilities & Project Management, including overseeing the urban regeneration of parts of Stratford pre and post the 2012 Olympics. He is passionate about customer focussed delivery and believes that clear and consistent communication is key to building successful relationships.

Kim Slowe
Director

Kim is the Founder of ZeroC construction, that was sold to Places for People in 2014. He was responsible for much of the construction of Poundbury, and also delivered Rousillion Park Chichester and the Olympic Sailing Village in Portland, Dorset.

 
 

Simon Conibear
delivery Director

Simon graduated from Cambridge with a degree in history before training as a Chartered Surveyor. He was the Estate Director and Development Manager for the Poundbury Project and Non-executive advisor to the Gascoyne Cecil Estates.

Paul Roberts

Paul has over 20 years’ experience delivering exemplar sustainable and walkable communities with Turnberry Consulting. He believes passionately in developments that are appropriate for the places they sit within and that they are delivered in partnership with local people to ensure they leave a positive and lasting legacy.

Damon Turner
Strategic Land Partner

Damon, a Partner at Welbeck Land has over 20 years’ experience in land and sustainable placemaking.  Working with key stakeholders Damon believes in meaningful engagement with those who have a vested interest in how developments impact them and their communities. Damon pro-actively supports and promotes sustainable development understanding that what we do now will impact generations to come.

Michael Femi-Ola
Meanwhile-Use Partner

Michael is the Founder of AfterDark Promotions, a 360º student events and marketing agency skilled at creating innovative event concepts and marketing strategies for brands. Over the past ten years, Michael has led many of the UK's biggest student events, including music-focused warehouse events and the UK's first independent Student Freshers Fair. Covid-19 forced Michael to adapt and relook at concepts that would work during Covid-19, from which Junkyard Markets, hosted at St Mary’s Works, was born. Michael now works with Our Place to ensure that its unused spaces are utilised and turned into vibrant community-focused projects, providing local employment and a much-needed lifeline to local food producers.

Sam Coe
Meanwhile-Use Partner

Whilst managing the events and social calendar at The Shoe Factory Social Club, Sam is the owner of The Wharf Academy, a music school based in a Medieval Church here in Norwich. Sam’s career has always been in Arts and Music since a young age, performing around the world and releasing music as a solo artist and with her band. Sam has organised and managed many large-scale events in Norfolk, working alongside Our Place and the unique and eclectic arts scene we have here.
